Twitter is working on new features including mixed-media tweets.

According to 9to5Google, Twitter is developing a few new features, including the ability for users to attach photos and videos to one tweet. According to 9to5Google, the roundup of features is news items such as mixed-media tweets. You can attach up four photos or one video to the same tweet. However, you cannot attach both a still and a video. Twitter did not immediately respond to a request to comment.

9to5Google also discovered a way to award tweets with awards. 9to5Google also discovered a way to award tweets with a gift icon, right below a tweet. It is located next to the retweet and like buttons, as well as the share, retweet and like buttons. The report doesn’t clarify if this feature is a new way for users to monetize content or if it is exclusive to Twitter Blue, the platform’s subscription service. According to the report, a new field is being developed for users to list their pronouns. Many Twitter users already list their pronouns under their display name, bio, and other fields. These features are still being tested, so it’s unclear when they will be made public.
9to5Google also discovered more clues about Twitter Status, which was first noticed a few weeks back. Images show the options to “discover”, “join” or “discover” statuses on profiles. This could be used to locate other accounts.
