Update 8:23 AM ET, January 21st: Target has now sold out of all consoles. We hope you had some luck today. Target restocked the standard PS5 console for $499.99 and the digital edition for $399.99, but both are now sold out. The $499.99 Xbox Series X console is now available (depending on where you live and only through the $34.99 per-month All Access subscription package). Target does not require an account or special subscription in order to access these restocks. They will be distributed on a first-come basis, just like other retailers. Target does not have a queue system so it is best to keep adding the console to your cart, and then head to checkout as fast as possible.
Another option is to download the Target app on your smartphone. This could give you the edge that you need in order to secure a console.
Do not worry if you miss out on a sale, as retailers usually restock at minimum once per week. We are always looking for the best deals so subscribe to our newsletter to receive bi-weekly highlights on all the latest discounts.

Sony Pulse 3D headset
The $100 price tag on the Sony Pulse 3D wireless gaming headset is well worth it if you are looking for a wireless model that will allow the audio to shine in PS5 exclusives. It sounds great with titles such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Demon’s Souls as well as recent hits like Ratchet & Clank, Rift Apart. This headset is a little harder to find than the console, but it’s returning more often these days. The headset is also available in midnight black for $100. However, it is slightly harder to find in stock.
