Save $250 on iRobot’s poop-avoiding Roomba j7 Plus vacuum

Let’s get to the point and keep it professional. Here’s a deal for a robot vacuum that detects doom. The iRobot Roomba j7 plus is one of the most well-known brands in the robot vacuum industry. It’s currently available at Best Buy, Amazon, Wellbots, and for $599 ($250). It has all the fancy features you would expect from a high-end robo-vac like spot cleaning, room mapping with keep out zones, and automatic bin-emptying. It can also detect pet waste and (ideally), not run over it.
Jennifer Pattison Tuohy is our resident smart home expert. She recently tested the Roomba J7 Plus with the Samsung Jet Bot AI Plus. The Roomba scored higher due to its higher price-to-performance ratio than the Samsung model. It did not run over the fake poop she had prepared for it, but it did do so once out of the dozen tests she ran. Accidents happen just like with pets. If it makes a smeary mess of fecal matter in its first year of ownership, iRobot can replace the vacuum.

Let’s not be party-poopers here. The JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker is loud, portable, and can charge your phone while you listen to music. Woot offers it at $149.99 in black and teal colors, as well as red and green options. This is $30 less than the usual new price and the best price available right now. Although we haven’t tested this model yet, the JBL Charge line has made it into The Verge’s list of the best Bluetooth speakers. The Charge 5 has an IP67 rating which increases waterproofing and dustproofing, making it ideal for outdoor events. It’s January already and you’ll be ready for summer beaches.

Keyboards are very personal and I’m going to share my personal opinion. Full-size keyboards from big accessory brands like Razer or Corsair are often overpriced for the quality you get. These keyboards are marketed to gamers and these companies know that gamers will often spend more on fancy features like RGB lighting (hey! I’m guilty of it too so I’m also going to blast).
Yet, this Logitech mechanical keyboard is a great value for money. The G413 in silver costs $49.99 at Best Buy, which is $20 off. It uses Logitech’s Romer-G tactile mechanical switches. It lacks RGB lighting but its white key backlighting is sufficient to make it usable and blend in well at work or anywhere else.
