Garmin’s Fenix7X Smartwatch Can Store up to 578 Hours Of Battery

GarminGarmin announced it is updating its smartwatch line, including the flagship Fenix 7X, which can last up to 578 hours on a single charge due to the sun’s energy. There are three Fenix smartwatches. The Fenix 7S 42mm, Fenix 7 47mm and Fenix 7X 51mm smartwatches all have impressive battery life. The Epix smartwatch has a new 1.3-inch OLED display that is more durable than the Fenix 7S. Fenix 7 models also come with optional solar charging. The Fenix 7S is small and can run for up to 90 hours with solar, and 162 hours with solar. The Fenix 7 medium-sized model gets 136 hours and up to 289 with solar. The Fenix 7 is the smallest model, with a battery life of 136 hours, and a solar-powered battery life of 289 hours.
Other features include a hands-free LED flashlight, red or white lights, a Real Time Stamina tool and a new feature called “Up Ahead”, which shows you where aid stations are, how high they are, and the duration of your hike. The Epix doesn’t have solar charging so you will need to decide if the always-on OLED screen is worth the extra cost. Prices can vary depending on the model and materials. The smallest and most affordable model starts at $699.99. The Fenix 7X is more expensive at $999.99 so these smartwatches are not for budget-conscious customers. The Epix starts at $899.99.
